JAG Legislative Leadership Day

Evangeline Parish School District held its JAG-LA 2023 Legislative Leadership Day, on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at the Mamou Recreational Center. 

Guests in attendance were members of the Evangeline Parish School District, the community, and local and state government officials. JAG students presented JAG Career Goals, Service Learning, Career Preparation, Civic Awareness, and Social Awareness. Guest speaker Louisiana State Representative Rhonda Butler inspired students to keep learning the valuable skills being taught in the JAG program so they may be successful in their future endeavors.
